UX & Product Design

Designing digital experiences that are intuitive, efficient, and built around real user needs.

I’m an experienced UX and Product Designer based in Hastings, New Zealand and available for ad hoc, freelance and contract projects.

From web platforms to apps, I help teams and businesses create products that work for both users and organisations.

Re-Source

Planning and preparing classes often takes longer than the class itself. Re-Source was a personal project while completing the Udacity UX Nano Degree.

Process

  • Conducted research via interviews, surveys, and observation of teachers

  • Mapped user needs, pain points, and opportunities for new resource-finding tools

  • Designed user flows, low & high fidelity wireframes, and prototypes in Figma

  • Tested designs with users, iterating based on feedback

Result

Created a prototype that reduces prep time for teachers, supports adaptability, and incorporates feedback for accessibility and usability improvements.

Personal Takeaways

  • Practiced end-to-end UX design, from research to high-fidelity prototypes

  • Learned to translate research findings into practical solutions

  • Gained insights into designing for efficiency, usability, and accessibility
